Welcome to another edition of Man Crush Monday where we interview the top male porn performers in the XXX industry. No doubt that if you’ve watched porn in the last 15 years, you’ve seen Christian XXX in action. Between performing, running his own production company, handling his social media accounts, and blogging, this guy is always at work. He’s also one of the most versatile performers in the industry working today.Read on to meet the XXX one man band:
1. Please introduce yourself and tell everyone what you do.
Hello, my name is Christian and I am a performer/blogger/affiliate/producer/onemanband in the adult industry.
2. How did your career in adult begin and what did it take to evolve to where you are now?
In 1999, I met a famous porn star named Lovette. We started dating and she opened up my eyes to the magical world of fucking on camera and getting paid for it. Since then I have performed in over 2,500 scenes, produced and directed about 600 scenes for Naughty America, and performed all over the world (England, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Germany, France, Thailand, and Canada).
3. I read on your blog, Christian Sings The Blues, that you taught high school before porn. What did you teach and how was being a teacher?
I taught 11th grade US History and 12th grade US Government and although it was a fulfilling career, the money was not there and I was very bored and restless. I felt like I was destined for more in life.
4. You work so much. Porn always looks like it’s about partying, but it obviously takes a lot more than having fun to make this a full time job. What is your average week like? What do you do when you’re not working?
My philosophy early on was while everyone else is out partying, I am ready to swoop in and take any jobs they are unable or unwilling to do. I have always enjoyed working, the money is just a bonus, let’s be honest. Having sex with smoking hot, slutty girls is pretty cool. About 6 years ago, I discovered blogging and/or affiliate marketing. That discovery meant that there was money to be made passively while I slept. So I began to work 2 jobs in effect, performing & data entry/affiliate marketing. I don’t sleep much, so I am up at 6:30 AM, on the computer until around 10 AM, then usually I shoot a scene or two, grab a quick nap around 3 PM, then it’s off to the gym for a workout (I am a triathlete). Then it’s back home to work on the computer some more until around midnight to 1 AM. Rinse & repeat.
5. One of the things that is immediately obvious from your blog and tweets is how much in love you are with Lexi Sindel. How did you two get together? How involved are you with one another’s websites and projects, since you’re both in the porn industry?
I discovered her while watching one of her videos (don’t ask) and of course I hit on her over Twitter, which got me absolutely nowhere. Then I offered to work for her as a bait and switch tactic, and after multiple attempts, finally secured a date. After the date, Lexi proceeded to ignore me for 6 months, until my “persistence” finally paid off. I secured a second date, plied her with copious amounts of alcohol, and the rest is history. We have been inseparable ever since. She moved into my place about a month later and never left.
I have so much respect & admiration for Lexi. Her work ethic and intelligence are extremely impressive. She owns her own company and knows so much more than me about the internet and how to run your own business. I ask her for help every day with some sort of minutiae about the internet. I have also become her production manager for all of her shoots, so to take some of the pressure of her and allow her to concentrate on creating fantastic scenes.
6. Kinky Exploits is your project and you have a wide variety of performers in your videos. I think it’s refreshing to see someone who works with BBW, transsexual, MILF, and Femdom performers, in addition to “classic hot girls.” What are the ups and downs (no pun intended) of being so versatile? What are your hard limits for what you won’t do on camera?
I don’t have any hard limits, I take each scene on a case by case basis as they are offered to me. But the beauty of owning your own content is that you do the scenes that you WANT to.
7. What in porn have you not done yet, but want to accomplish? What about in vanilla life?
I want to do a scene with a pregnant girl.
8. What is the nerdiest thing about you?
I played World of Warcraft every day for over 6 years and even named my corporation CX WOW INC because of it. (Editor’s note: That is nerdy. We salute you for putting it out there.)
9. How do you deal with burnout?
I don’t have time for burnout. Plus I travel all over the world doing scenes, so I am never bored.
10. You also have a blog called PornStarLuggage.com that gives fans a fun behind-the-scenes look at porn stars and their luggage. How did it start? Who has the most memorable luggage?
While I was doing Christian Sings the Blues, I realized I had like 100 pics of girls luggage on set. So I thought – why not start a funny blog with some witty commentary? There are some memorable ones for being unique, check out Heidi Mayne, Monroe Valentino, and Mya Nicole.
11. What projects do you have coming up that fans should look forward to seeing in 2015?
I am launching my own TS site – www.pure-ts.com and expanding my VOD titles to the DVD market. I am also going to start a BBW, Porn Star, and FemDom paysite through Model Centro.
